Immunity to Change review

Immunity to Change: How to Overcome It and Unlock Potential in Yourself and Your Organization by Robert Kegan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Not only in these times but certainly due to COVID-19 the world again discusses about change. On a global level, on a regional level, in your company, in your team and change will happen to us as an individual as well. Change is happening more often and faster. But – can we change, do we want to change and do we have the ability to distinguish between behavioral and adaptive change ? This book can help you in creating a structured plan of overcoming your competing commitments against your big thing you want to change. It is not a sprint, but it is not a marathon either. But it requires to thoroughly think about what you really want to change and what is blocking you to do so. It is definitely a great help to develop your skills in mindfulness and compassionate leadership as it provides you tools for better and clear self awareness.
